Resident Evil Re:Verse PS4 PlayStation 4 1

If you bought Resident Evil Village, then you’ll be eligible to play multiplayer spin-off Resident Evil Re:Verse. And while the online experiment had originally been scheduled to release last month alongside the core game, a sloppy beta pushed it back a bit. Now, as confirmed during an E3 2021 panel, it’ll officially launch next month.

And that’s all the Japanese publisher told us: there was no firm date and not even a trailer. But if you’ve been waiting to play, then mark July in your calendars – it’s coming. Re:Verse. Yay?

It's been downloaded on my PS4 for a few weeks, hadn't bothered to even try to open it - had no idea it wasn't even working yet.

Shows how much interest I have in multiplayer Resi.

The one thing I'll never understand about japanese games is the sub genre of games like these that just mesh together a bunch random nonsense. Not that it's a bad thing as it's just a fun way to make a spin off for fans, it just doesn't appeal to me even for series I enjoy like Zelda that has Hyrule Warriors and it just falls flat for me.

I don't understand why they don't try and do some kind of left 4 dead style game in the RE franchise. It's perfect for it and they can fill their boots with cosmetic microtransactions and season pass nonsense.

If they really wanted to go for it they could use classic locations like the mansion and police station. There could be a few puzzles to solve with the aim being to survive the night or something. There you go Capcom, your can have that one for free.

Hey Capcom I got an idea, how about you stop making these stupid RE PVP modes that nobody wants and actually make a coop game. I don't understand why they think turning RE into PVP game mode is a good idea. All they're doing is dragging the IP's in the dirt. I thought with the success pf RE5's coop they'd do more of that but I guess not.
